LOS ANGELES—The World Networks has announced that it will host an official red carpet film premiere for the upcoming motion picture “Betrayal,” starring Jack Topalian and Eric Roberts.
The premiere will be held on Monday, Jan. 20, at 7:30 pm at the MGN Five Star Cinema in Glendale. Starting Jan. 24, “Betrayal” will open for a two week exclusive showing at the MGN Five Star Cinema in Glendale, before it is released to other theaters in California and nationwide.
Set in modern day Los Angeles, “Betrayal” takes you inside the dark and gritty world of the Armenian and Russian mob and explores the power, struggles, loyalty, and the vengeance of the men and women who are a part of it. It also shows the humanity, sacrifices, and the choices that we all make in life and how those choices affect us and our loved ones.
“In this day and age, people are moving at the speed of iPhones and computers. You have to move fast or you lose them…,” says Director and Lead Actor, Jack Topalian, in an exclusive interview with Independent Film Quarterly. The talented Jack Topalian, within the past year; has co-starred in “Southland,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and HBO’s “Luck,” and has had recurring guest on Showtime’s “Weeds” and “Ray Donovan.” He also had a featured role in the Oscar-winning Ben Affleck film “Argo.”
Critically acclaimed Canadian stage and film director Atom Egoyan congratulated Topalian in a letter, “…it has a great feel for underworld Los Angeles, and your presence is really strong…,” but such renowned names are not the only ones raving about the film.
Jason D. Morris, an award-winning filmmaker and producer ,Valerie McCaffrey, an award-winning independent casting director and producer, alongside Eric Roberts, Ric Young, Oleg Taktarov, Scott L. Schwartz, Alexander Khachaturyan, and Roman Mitichyan, just to name a few, are among the international talent who have come together to make this film a reality.
The private red carpet reception will feature a private viewing, complimentary drinks, and networking opportunities with entertainment professionals.
As for the public viewing, starting Jan. 24, Betrayal will open for a two week exclusive showing at the MGN Five Star Cinema in Glendale, before it is released to other theaters in California and around the country.
