JAVAKHK (Itar-Tass)–A bomb exploded at the entry to the residence of the Georgian president’s representative in the Samtskhe-Javakhk district in Akhaltsikhe (with a predominantly Armenian population) at 8:00 PM on Friday. A member of the administration was wounded.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the bomb exploded several minutes after the presidential representative Gela Kvaratskhelia–who was appointed to the post two weeks ago–left the building–and that the attack may have been aimed at him.
