YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The discovery of a possible AIDS cure by Armenian scientists aroused keen interest among artists. Director of the Yerevan Chamber Theatre Ara Yernjakian who is also head of Yerevan’s culture department will soon present a feature film on "Armenicum."
The comedy is about intelligence agencies from different countries seeking to steal the secret of the new invention. The film is being shot by the Chamber Theatre with the sponsorship of the "Mika Limited" firm and its President Mikhail Baghdasarov. Among those invited to act in the film are such popular Armenian actors as Hrant Tokhatian–Georgi Amiraghian and Ashot Ghazarian.
Ara Yernjakian expects his film to be presented to the public in September.
