YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A draft of the comprehensive political agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the topic of discussion at a current round of negotiations in Moscow–announced foreign ministry spokesperson Arsen Gasparian Thursday.
According to the spokesperson–the three co-chairs of the Minsk group decided to discuss those paragraphs of the draft on which the sides have not yet agreed.
Gasparian added that the problems of Lachin and Shushi were addressed at the talks.
"The problem of Shushi is the problem of return of refugees–while the problem of Lachin is the problem of security–but not one of territories. Lachin must remain under control of the Karabakh defense army. Taking into consideration the fact that Azerbaijan has been defeated by Karabakh–Lachin is the price which Azerbaijan has to pay," concluded Gasparian.
