YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Constitutional Court of Armenia on voted to reject on April 2 a grievance by presidential candidate David Shahnazarian–who demanded that the March 16 presidential elections be recognized null and void.
On March 27 Shahnazarian filed a complaint with the court.–demanding that the votes garnered by eight candidates–who according to election returns occupied from 5 to 12 places–be announced void. The candidates in question were Baruyr Hairikian–David Shahnazarian–Artashes Geghamian–Vigen Khachatrian–Hrant Khachatrian–Aram Sargssian–Yuri Mkrtchian–Ashot Bleyan.
