The Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles announced this week that its offices will serve as an information center for the upcoming parliamentary elections. The offices will provide information about parties and candidates running in the proportional election system and allow citizens to register to vote on the May 30 elections.
To be eligible to vote–citizens of the Republic of Armenian must submit by May 25 an information sheet with their full name–date of birth–and temporary and permanent addresses. This information can also be mailed or faxed.
Only Armenian citizens are eligible to vote whose certificates are not expired. Those whose citizenship papers are expired need to apply for renewal immediately.
