YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Prime Minister Andranik Margarian issued a decree July 23 relieving Vanya Mkhitarian of the post of the deputy minister of state property management.
The reason for the decision came from the report by Minister of State Property Management David Vardanian that pointed out that Mkhitarian opinions on the government’s policy of state property privatization were inadmissible.
David Vardanian made a proposal for the appointment of Ara Hakobian to this post–because he believes–Hakobian has a wide experience in the government system and in international structures. His past working experiences include working at the Ministry of Economy–Ministry of Industry and Trade–as well as at the WTO in Geneva. The same day Ara Hakobian was officially appointed to the post.
