VANADZOR (Armenpress)–Senior officials of ArmenTel telecommunications traveled to Armenia’s third largest town–Vanadzor on Friday to attend the opening ceremony of the new digital telephone station.
The new station is capable of serving 20,000 subscribers. Until recently only 1,200 subscribers in Stepanavan–province of Lori–had digital phones.
Another digital station is ready to be installed in the town of Spitak. In the summer–the residents of Vanadzor will be able to use cellar phones. Internet connection will also be available in ArmenTel’s hall in Vanadzor.
