YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenia’s gross foreign assets totaled $332.4 million as of late 1999. The share of banking gold in the overall assets was 1,357 kilograms. Net foreign assets made $96.6 million–while gross foreign liabilities another $235.8 million.
In the fourth quarter of 1999 gross foreign assets decreased by $18.4 million. As a result–net foreign assets decreased by $12.9 million–and gross foreign liabilities by $5.5 million. Simultaneously the share of banking gold increased by 18.4 kilograms.
