YEREVAN (Armenpress)–A group of forensic experts requested by an ad hoc parliamentary commission to conduct an examination of the corpse of an October 27 case defendant Norayr Yeghizarian–(who reportedly died of an electroshock while in detention)–unveiled its results on Tuesday saying the death was caused by heart attack as well as electroshock. They also noted that the defendant was suffering from a poor heart condition.
The commission was created for investigating allegations that the terrorists were receiving illicit counseling from people close to official authorities. Kim Balayan–a member of the commission from the ARF–said there were no discrepancies in the first and second conclusions–"though there are still some unclear facts–which should be examined."
The commission believes that a group of criminal experts should also be asked to make their own investigation–in order to check whether body organs–made available for the forensic experts–really belonged to Yeghiazarian.
