YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)Armenia’s Foreign Minister Alexander Arzoumanian met Wednesday with co-chairmen of the Organization for Security Cooperation in Europe’s Minsk Conference and Minsk Group–Jacques Bleu and Georges Vogier.
The foreign ministry press service announced that Bleu briefed the foreign minister regarding the recent OSCE Minsk Group Troika meeting in Copenhagen–Denmark–outlining that the Minsk Group nine-member states were scheduled to meet in Paris on March 17. The Minsk Group is scheduled to reconvene in Moscow in early April with the participation of the sides to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The French delegation also discussed the methods by which the peace talks would resume under the new tri-chairmanship formula.
Arzoumanian informed the delegation about Armenia’s posturing regarding the aforementioned issues and stressed the importance of direct negotiations between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
