YEREVAN (Yerkir)–During a visit to Armenia, the governor of the Paris’ 9th district and a representative of the French Socialist Party Jacques Bravo Wednesday laid a wreath at the Dzidzernagapert memorial monument, on behalf of the Paris Mayor Bertrand Delano. Accompanied by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Political Affairs Director Giro Manoyan Bravo visited the Armenian Genocide memorial to pay a tribute to the memory of 1.5 million innocent victims. In the Museum-Institute of Genocide Jacques Bravo familiarized himself with the evidences of atrocities carried out by Ottoman Turkey. "This morning I bear the sentimen’s of the people of Paris. A people that does not want to die and will never die," he wrote in the book. Bravo expressed hope that in the end the Armenian Genocide will be recognized all over the world. "Twenty years ago I was also participating in rallies condemning the Armenian Genocide," he said, adding that "I am very exited to represent the Armenia’s of my district," Bravo said. "I am sure that one day the Genocide will be widely recognized in the world."
