YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A liturgy dedicated to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims was served at the Notre Damme de Paris on April 21. Among those present were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to France Eduard Nalbandian–and the heads of the Armenian–Catholic and Evangelic churches.
The Armenian youth organizations of France will organize a ceremony of lighting candles in Bastilia Square in Paris April 23 evening. On April 24–the Mayor’s Office of the capital of France will organize a reception in the memory of the Genocide victims. An eternal fire will be lighted and wreaths will be laid to the monument to Unknown Soldier under the Triumph Arch the same day.
Arrangemen’s dedicated to the memory of the Genocide victims are also going to be held in the French cities of Marseilles–Lyons–Grenoble–and Vallance as well. A monument to the Genocide victims will be unveiled in the city of Seisier–and a square in the city of Clamard will be renamed.
