The Board of Regents of Prelacy Armenian Schools announced the appointment of Mrs. Grace Andonian as the new principal of Grace Andonian as the new principal of Krouzian Zekarian Vasbouragan Armenian School.
Andonian has many years of teaching experience. She taught at Mesrobian Armenian School from 1986-1992 and at Krouzian Zekarian Vasbouragan Armenian School from 1992-1994 and 1998-2006. Mrs. Andonian’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut in Chemistry.
“The San Francisco community and specifically Krouzian Zekarian Vasbouragan Armenian School is a familiar environment for Mrs. Grace Andonian. For many years, Mrs. Andonian has been a teacher and an active member of the Armenian American community. The Board of Regents highly values Mrs. Andonian’s years of service in the field of education, as well as her educational and instructional experience. We strongly believe that with the cooperation and collaboration of the faculty, the School Board, and local and school committees, Mrs. Andonian will succeed in continuing the advancement of Krouzian Zekarian Vasbouragan Armenian School” said Board of Regents chairperson Mark Guedikian.
