YEREVAN—Newly appointed US Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern condemned the weekend Azeri sniper attacks, which killed two soldiers and urged for a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“We condemn the incidents that occurred at the line of contact and express our condolence to families of the victims,” said Heffern during the official opening of the pediatric ward of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Hospital in Yerevan Tuesday, reported the local press..
“Any manifestation of violence is deplorable, and we wish to contribute to the problem’s peaceful settlement through the [OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe)] Minsk Group process,” added Heffern.

Too vague.
This is usual US manifestation of bias (we have already accustomed to), or worse cowardice.
Let’s look at to whom this condemnation is addressed to…everybody and nobody it seems. Catch phrases or words: ” incidents that occurred at the line of contact line”, “victims”, “Any manifestation of violence is deplorable”
No kidding!
This is pure BS, I don’t know why any Armenian media source would even bother reporting it. This so-called condemnation is an insult to Armenians.
Meet Force with greater force- they will not stop-their history shows it-
Dear Ambassador…John Heffern,
Thanks for being
……………………Fair
And Many Thanks
From all Armenian Hearts
Who lost many innocent youths…
None can treat
Their mothers’ pain…
None…

It seems one side is trying repeatedly to instigate a war, and all the big powers do is condemn that action, nothing more. We can ask them (The big powers) to take some some more concrete steps, if nothing comes of that, Take some concrete steps ourselves.
