The Homenetmen Mobile App

EAGLE ROCK—On May 28 Homenetmen Western United States Debuted its very own app. to be downloaded for FREE.

The date coincides with the 95th Anniversary of Armenia’s independence. The good timing of the application’s development enables access to the Navasartian Games which are currently underway. With a gamut of information available at the fingertips of members and followers alike, this opens the door for endless possibilities. Anyone who owns a Smartphone or Tablet Computer that runs on either Apple iOS or Google Android, anywhere in the world, will be able to download the app. and have access to the latest news and information about this year’s Navasartian Games and a host of other events that will be taking place until the run up of the games to the 4th of July Festival week.

OGMA, Inc., a Software Development Company based in Armenia since 2000, developed the application to run with Homenetmen’s data base. The idea came about when Navasartian Organizing Committee (N.O.C) Chairperson, Mher Tavidian, decided that the time was right for Homenetmen to develop a cellular phone and tablet application to facilitate and meet the demands of its members and followers who continuously sought up to date information about the games, scheduling and other events that took place during the tournament months. “We were pressed for time to find the right developer. We came across several software development companies, but none were as convincing. Once OGMA, Inc. was in the frame, there was no going back. They were the right company at the right time,” expressed Mher Tavidian. “It was a no brainer! This was a start-up company in Armenia, employing highly skilled top quality software developers and engineers who were Armenian” echoed Mher Tavidian’s words, who saw it beneficial that Homenetmen Western United States hire both a company run by an Armenian, in Armenia, with benefits to the local economy there.

“It was a tremendously joyous moment for me once I had learned that my company had been chosen with the task of developing Homenetmen’s smart app.” said Harmik Baghdasarian, who had started OGMA, Inc., in Armenia back in 2000. “We had only two months to come up with the app. It was a race against the clock. ” It’s uniquely wonderful to be involved in creating something like this for Homenetmen, an organization in which I’ve been a member of for decades.”

To download the free app., visit Apple’s “App Store” if you own an iPhone or iPad, or Google’s “Play Store” if you own an Android Smart Phone or Tablet and type in “HOMENETMEN.” The app. will appear for you to download.
