YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian officials should reconcile their differences and unite in order to find an admissible solution to the Karabakh problem–stated Tigran Sahakian–Chairman of "Hayavag" at a meeting of the Union of Armenian Lawyers and representatives of human rights organizations of Armenia Tuesday.
The meeting was devoted to the problems of human rights abuses in Armenia. According to Sahakian–Karabakh’s union with Azerbaijan would be a flagrant violation of human rights. He suggested that the Union of Armenian Lawyers find ways to get back massacred Armenia’s’ deposits made to banks in Switzerland and other countries in and around 1915.
Edward Mamikonian–Chairman of the Center for "Avantgarde," a center for humanitarian research–noted that using national interests as a cover–human rights are trampled upon in Armenia.
