YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– "This is Robert Kocharian’s first official visit to Georgia and it can be of prime importance in the thousand-year history of relations between Armenia and Georgia," the chairman of the "Javakhk" Union–Hovhannes Aivazian said.
In an interview with Noyan Tapan–he expressed a hope that relations between Armenia and Georgia will be shifted to the surface of more concrete regional cooperation both in the sphere of foreign policy and economic integration.
According to Kocharian– it will be poessible to strengthen the frontier between the two countries which will in turn become mutually advantageous to both countries in creating a boundary free trade zone.
