In celebrating the 100th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian’s birth–the trilingual (Armenian–English–Russian) Virtual Museum of Aram Khachaturian has been launched by the Aram Khachaturian International Enlightenment-Cultural Association.
The site– www.khachaturian.am–presents the composer’s biography and timeline–recollections and quotes–a comprehensive list of works complete with dates–downloadable music–and a gallery of rare family photos–and of the composer with talented and cherished world figures–and much more.
The project was supported by a grant from the Armenian Branch of the Open Society Institute–Assistance Foundation.
