YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Acting President–Prime Minister and presidential candidate Robert Kocharian is scheduled to attend meetings with his campaign staff–to discuss the path of the campaign from now until the March 30 run-off election–Kocharian’s campaign spokesman Aghvan Vardanian said last week.
Vardanian also reported that no substantial changes would be made in the central staff. According to the spokesman–the campaign’s path will be determined by analysis of the March 16 election.
Among the major problems is lack of efficiency–said Vardanian–because–"if the central staff had acted efficiently–then all that followed would have garnered the result intended."
The spokesman attributed the shortcomings of the campaign staff to lack of personnel experience–and lack of time.
Vardanian said that different experts will be assigned to polling stations at the run-off election.
The spokesman’stressed the need for a larger turnout than March 16’s 60 percent–pledging that Kocharian’s campaign staff would assume that a priority.
