YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– On Thursday–President Robert Kocharian received the outgoing Greek ambassador Jacobos Spetsios–who is completing his four-year diplomatic mission in Armenia.
While discussing the relations between the two countries–Kocharian stressed that positive trends can be observed almost in all spheres.
The existing political ties–according to the president–were further strengthened this year by economic relations. Describing the appearance of the Greek OTE company on the Armenian market as an important step–Kocharian voiced confidence that the presence of such a large company on Armenian soil would become an example for other companies to follow.
Ambassador Spetsios reportedly thanked the Armenian authorities for their help and assistance during his term in office. He assured the Armenian president that he would continue to closely follow the events in Armenia.
