YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian president Robert Kocharian and president of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arkady Ghoukassian met Tuesday to discuss the current situation in Karabakh and the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
According to the presidential press service–Kocharian outlined in detail his conversations with Azeri president Haydar Aliyev during their recent meeting in Geneva. In particular–Kocharian noted that the two sides agreed on the importance of maintaining and strengthening the cease-fire. Kocharian added the sides stressed the importance of the OSCE Minsk group’s involvement in the peace process and that Karabakh should also be one of the parties involved.
