YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian President Robert Kocharian held a meeting Thursday with the Indonesian Ambassador to Armenia Gde Ars Kajar–who is completing his mission to Armenia.
During the meeting the Armenian president stressed that despite the distance between the two countries–Armenia and Indonesia established relations at different levels–including ties within the framework of international organizations.
The president pointed out the importance of developing economic cooperation–considering the creation of necessary legislation and attainment of agreemen’s to be a priority.
The Indonesian ambassador outlined the situation in his country and in the region. He expressed optimism that the appointment of a new ambassador will make the bilateral relations more efficient.
