YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian President Robert Kocharian will pay an official visit to Slovakia and an official-working visit to Austria February 25-27.
The delegation to accompany the president will comprise of Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vardan Oskanian–Minister of Industry and Trade Karen Chshmaritian–Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchian–Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Standing Commission on Foreign Affairs Hovhannes Hovhannisian–Armenian Member of Parliament Baghram Baghdasarian–Ambassador of Armenia to Austria and Slovakia Jivan Tabibian and other high-ranking officials.
A tte–tte meeting of President Robert Kocharian with President of Slovakia Rudolph Schuster will be held in the capital of Slovakia on February 26. A press conference with both presidents will be held afterward.
Kocharian will also meet with Chairman of the National Council of Slovakia Joseph Miglash and the Prime Minister Miculas Dzerinda. In addition to meetings–Kocharian will participate in the planting of the "Tree of Friendship."
According to the Armenian presidential press service–the delegation will depart from Bratislava to Vienna on the evening of February 26.
On February 27–President Kocharian will meet with Federal President of Austria Tomas Klestil. After the meeting–a press conference of the presidents will take place–after which a ceremony of signing bilateral documen’s will be held.
Two intergovernmental agreemen’s about excluding double taxation of revenues and property and air communication between the countries are to be signed between Armenia and Austria.
During his visit the president of Armenia will also meet with Federal Prime Minister of Austria Wolfgang Schuessel–Chairman of the National Council Heinz Fischer–and Chairman of Economic Chamber Leitl.
