LETTERS: On Yegparian's 'Loose Ends'

I read Garen Yeghparian’s latest article in Asbarez., where you had singled out couple organizations, such as ARPA and AESA.
True, these organizations deserve recognition for their activities. But, equally so, there are others, such as the Armenian Professional Society of Los Angeles (APSLA). We just completed a joint conference with AESA, at Glendale Public library, on Sept. 30th
I want to bring to your attention that MOCA had a committee of mostly Armenians, who worked hard to promote Arshile Gorky event, from June 6 thru Sept. 20. Asbarez was Media Partner and APS had its participation, along with many others who were forgotten.
On April 30, 2010 APS organized a dinner event, at the Brandview Collection, and all proceeds went to MOCA. Seven Armenian organizations joined in that unrepresented event. More then 325 people were there, including Mayor Ara Najarian. (ARPA and AESA were part of the 7).
APSLA is engaged in the community. A visit to our website, apsla.org, will give you some ideas.
Last, but not least, APS will be honoring Ambassador John Marshall Evans as APS 2010 Professional of the Year, on Nov. 19, 2010
I was very disappointed for not including APS in your remarks.
