PASADENA, Calif.–The Pasadena based Lradou Armenian television channel announced this week it has launched an interactive web portal dedicated to the enhancement of its youth programming.
Launched in 1998 by the Pasadena “Lernavayr” Chapter of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Lradou will now also be airing its regular TV content on the internet at www.lradou.tv.
The TV channel, staffed largely by community youth, provides educational programs geared toward Armenian youth. The channel regularly features short Armenian documentaries, as well as a rich lineup of programs hosted by young broadcasters.
This year, Lradou launched two new weekly programs, titled “Historical Memories” and “Famous Armenia’s.” The channel also offers bilingual news briefs, sports news, entertainment, children’s’ programming and an Armenian cooking show.
Lradou is broadcast Sunday’s at 11 AM on Horizon TV; Thursday’s at 10 AM and Saturday’s at 12 PM on Pasadena Charter Cable PCAC Channel 56.
