Due to his educational and ideological background both as a teacher and as a party member–Dasnabedian was able to educate many generations following him about Armenia Memorial Ceremony dedicated to Dasnabedian and its rich history. Donoian stressed that Dasnabedian’s contributions to the Armenian community went beyond education–and including literature–science–history as well as architecture.
Dasnabedian’s most influential contributions include the historical book series dedicated to founding fathers of the ARF. He has also written several other significant books about ARF history–and the Armenian cause.

Yacoubian lauded his contributions to the community and party–mentioning his negotiations with Levon Ter-Petrossian when the ARF was banned in Armenia and Hratch Maroukhian was asked to leave the country. "Hratch Dasnabedian was a multi-talented person with a wide range of interests including education–public leadership–history–party ideology–politics and culture," said Yacoubian. "His personality was formed during his youth when he joined Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) and the Zavarian Student Association. Since his youth he served his people and his party. For over 40 years he was a party leader holding numerous leadership positions in the Central Committee and Central Bureau levels."
Upon the conclusion of the evening everybody watched a video of Dasnabedian’s speech he delivered in Glendale–where he said that he never regretted the profession he chose.
His greatest joy came from being helpful to his students. Dasnabedian was also very much interested in photography and artistic expressions–but he dedicated all his time to educating the students of Jemaran.
