It is with great sadness that the Armenian Educational Foundation announces the passing of George Jorjorian at the age of 95.
George Jorjorian was a long-time educator who believed deeply and passionately in educating the youth, particularly the Armenian youth. With this passion in mind, George was a longtime supporter and benefactor of the Armenian Educational Foundation.
For over twenty-five years, he was the holder of two endowment funds, which provided scholarships for 27 students to complete their higher education in Armenia, Artsakh and Lebanon.
The memorial service will be held at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Mortuary in Canoga Park on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the AEF Jorjorian Fund.
