YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Azeri chief presidential advisor on foreign affairs Vafa Guluzade told a press conference that the co-chairmen of the Organizations for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s Minsk Group will arrive in Baku Saturday.
Guluzade–once again–reiterated the Azeri position of resolving the Karabakh conflict through the step-by-step approach–which envisions the immediate withdrawal of Armenian forces from so-called occupied territories–"after a certain period" all other conflict-related issues would be resolved.
The Azeri News Service quoted Guluzade as saying that the conflict should be resolved in a peaceful manner.
This came in response to an ANS question on whether the Azeri advisor saw a threat in the re-legalization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation in Armenia.
"Armenia has no other option–but to resolve this matter and live in peace," remarked Guluzade.
Prior to the visit of the Minsk Group Co-chairman–Boris Berezovsky–the newly appointed executive director of the CIS is scheduled to visit Armenia Tuesday.
