YEREVAN—A mechanism for “operative” ties has been established between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan who told reporters on Thursday that since a brief conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev the system has been effective.

Pashinyan and Aliyev held a discussion in Dushanbe, Tajikistan earlier this month when the two were attending a summit of CIS leaders. According to Pashinyan, he and Aliyev agreed to de-escalate tension along the Armenia-Azerbaijan and Artsakh-Azerbaijan borders.

“Based on our agreement, a reliable and operative connection has been established with the Azerbaijani side and we can say that any information can be conveyed to the Azerbaijani President and from their side to me within half an hour,” Pashinyan told reporters Thursday, explaining that the communication between the two leaders takes place on an as needed basis.

Pashinyan also attributed the recent relative calm on the borders to his conversation and agreements with Aliyev.

“Generally speaking, the situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border and Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line is unprecedentedly calm and it is, in some sense, the result of Dushanbe agreements,” explained Pashinyan.

How many Armenian soldiers will get killed in that half hour until Aliyev answers Pashinyan’s call?

The dictatorial regime of Axerbaijan is not part of the democratic countries just like her counterpart Turkey’s Rajab Oghloo! Aliev trying to establish credible leadership, for his corrupted oil Sheikhdom in front of Western European countries, but he will be failed again until he was overthrown by his Turkic herds!

Yeah, sure! We let then advance half a mile towards Areni without firing a shot! Yes, Areni, the famous annual wine festival.
They can now easily cut-off the southern road to Artsakh! Which is the main communication link from our house to Yerevan.

This is a FAILURE on the part of Armenia. Thus the Armenian government is acknowledging and accepting the terrorism Azerbaijan has engaged in for the past 30 years, and Armenia is incompetent and weak to do anything about it. Did it go something like this? Russia to Armenia: go start talking to your enemies who have been killing you in order to lessen the amount of dead soldiers you are getting because the diaspora is starting to notice. Armenia to Russia: YES MASTER.

He lied, he lies, and he will always lie. Too bad so many compatriots in Armenia fell for his lies, hoping he was going to be their Messiah…

Pashinian lies. His contact operative with Alyev its a pipe dream muse for internal consumption. He wants to appear important claiming that his Dushanbe trip yielded positive results by engaging with Alyev. Every month there is a dead soldier on the front lines . One dead soldier is one too many. Since assuming power pashinian has turned into a globetrotter tourist.
