GLENDALE, CA–LA City Council Member Paul Krekorian spoke to ANC-Glendale activists and supporters about civic involvement on Wednesday, May 26 at the Glendale Phoenicia restaurant. Krekorian, a former California Assemblymember for the 43rd District, shared his experiences of municipal governance in a friendly question answer session that involved a discussion about issues facing the Los Angeles Armenian community. The dinner-discussion was the third in a series of similar events, which are held on the last Wednesday of every month by the ANC-Glendale.
The first dinner-discussion, held in February, featured Attorney Garo Ghazarian, who spoke about Police Misconduct. In March, the ANC-G invited Police Chief Ron De Pampa for a discussion about values, strategies, and emerging threats in city of Glendale. Attorney Mark Geragos and Glendale City Council Member Lara Friedman are slated for upcoming dinner-discussions. More information can be found at the ANC-G website at: ancglendale.org
