YEREVAN (ArmRadio)—Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian on Monday issued a letter expressing his condolences on the passing away of renowned Armenian conductor Aram Gharabekian.
The President said he “was deeply saddened” to learn about the passing of Aram Gharabekyan.
Aram Gharabekyan, who studied in some of the world’s best conservatories, stood out as a unique, world class conductor and a cultural icon in Armenia. He was recognized for his talent and contributions with numerous international awards.
“I express my deepest condolences to Aram Gharabekian’s relatives, colleagues, and friends,” the President’s letter read.
