PASADENA–State Senator Jack Scott (21st State Senate District – Glendale/Pasadena) will be traveling to Armenia on a fact-finding trip aimed at furthering relations between California and Armenia.
Senator Scott leaves Los Angeles for Yerevan–Armenia on Saturday–September 17 – returning Saturday–September 24–2005.
While in Armenia–Senator Scott will be meeting with representatives of the Armenian government including President Robert Kocharian and Parliament President Arthur Baghdanarian. The Senator is scheduled to participate in Armenian Independence Day activities on September 21 and tour historic parts of the country. The following day he is scheduled to visit Holy Etchmiadzin and nearby churches.
