The Holy Cross Armenian Church of Akhalkalak was renovated in 2010, receiving new furniture, cosmetic renovation, and a new heating system. The renovations have brought new life and hope to the church and its congregation, which still remembers having to endure freezing temperatures during mass in the winter.
