WATERTOWN–“The Doctor is Out: The Art of Jack Kevorkian” is back on exhibit for a limited time at the Armenian Library and Museum of America (ALMA), offering visitors a look at the artistic side of a man perhaps best known for his death with dignity practices.  The exhibit features some of his personal memorabilia and 14 of his dramatic creations, including the ones pictured here.
Tune in to HBO on June 28 and watch “Kevorkian,” a new documentary profiling this multifaceted man.   The documentary features candid footage from Kevorkian’s 2008 visit to ALMA, where he marked the unveiling of his exhibit to a crowd of more than 300 people with a gallery talk.
Portions of The Doctor is Out will also appear on CNN this Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 a.m. (EST) during a special Sanjay Gupta MD segment with Kevorkian (check your local listings for schedule).
ALMA is located at 65 Main St. Watertown, MA. Museum hours are Thursday 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday-Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. Admission:  adults, $5; students, $2;  ALMA Members and children 12 and under, FREE.
