ANKARA (Armenian News)—Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has stated that it is impossible for his country to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
Cavusoglu made the assertion Thursday while speaking to the Turkish Parliament, Turkey’s Gercekgundem news agency reported.
He also reflected on the European Court of Human Rights’ hearing on the case regarding Dogu Perincek over the issue of the public denial of the Armenian Genocide and stressed that his ministry is closely monitoring the case.
And with respect to the “events that occurred in 1915,” Mevlut Cavusoglu claimed that it is impossible for Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide, which is attributed to their forebears and the Turkish nation.
“We stress this every time,” Turkey’s Foreign Minister said.
I wonder how this dummy Oghloo wants Turkey to be part of civilized world!
Offcourse its impossible because there snakes.
Hmm, hope his newly appointed senior adviser will fix the ‘Never’ to ‘As soon as possible’. Otherwise Turkey will be considered as civilized country.
Sure… I’m sure somewhere on the footnotes of history echo statements like, “white and black children will never be integrated”, “America will never elect a black President”, and “The Soviet Union is an understandable brotherhood of nations”…
There is no such thing as “never”. Sooner or later, Turks will come to their senses. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were much later, but I do think I will see it in my lifetime.
It must be very painful, humiliating, and demeaning for a nation even Turkey to admit to such atrocities. It may take yet another 100 years for the government of Turkey to recognize the Armenian genocide, but it has started among the intellectuals, and artist and it may spread to the masses.
Serjik lsum es te kartum es es B..i txu asasnere u hle du protocole sexanit vra es toxel.
ketesnenk.
Never is never.
I believe it is not up to Turkey to accept what happened was a Genocide or not, the international community should condemn Turkey and approve that it was a Genocide against Turkey’s will, POL POT of Cambodia never admitted he made a Genocide, so what does that mean Cambodian Genocide never happened because POL POT didn’t admit it? something is wrong in this approach, Genocide perpetrators never accept their crimes.
“Not recognizing” does not mean you did not do it. Or it did not happen. You just don’t “Recognize” it. The UN did not recognize China for years… That did not mean China did not exist. And many of us do not recognize your present borders… After all What is so called “Turkey” ? It’s a mosaic of stolen lands from all around countries through massacres, ethnic cleansings and a Great Genocide. The day comes your cabinet tumbles down and people with brighter minds sweep you aside and everything falls in it’s place.
Typical of turks to deny the crimes they have committed, I as a Kurd apologise as many Kurdish leaders have apologised before, I apologise that some Kurdish tribes that collaborated with the turks took part in this genocide, they not only took part against our Armenian cousins, but they also took part against their own Kurdish brothers and sisters.
LOOKS,like a DOG,walks like DOG,BARKS,like a DOG……He MUST BE A DOG..
LOOKS,like a DOG,walks like DOG,BARKS,like a DOG……He MUST BE A DOG.. PRINT IT..
Of course, it won’t. But I don’t care if it will or won’t. I demand that the criminal state be forced to honor the Woodrow Wilson Arbitral Award. It must pay interest and penalty on all land and Armenian assets. It must cover the moral damages. It must pay interest on delayed interest and penalty, … I’m talking about trillions of dollars.
If the United States took a strong stand against Turkey, we just might get the acknowledgement that we deserve. In honor of my grandfather, Albert Janjigian!
I will say something that might surprise you!!!!
The more they stay on that stance and utter such nonsense , we are gaining points…
Why? its simple..Sooner or later more states and countries will recognize the Genocide they perpetrated on us and then Voila!!!!
