Turkish hackers hit the Vatican’s website on Monday in an apparent retaliation for the pope’s remarks on Sunday, when he referred to the events of 1915 as “the first Genocide of the 20th century,” reported the Hill.
Vatican.va was knocked offline by a denial-of-service attack on Monday night, according to reports, but restored by Tuesday morning. A Turkish hacker on Twitter took credit for the hit, demanding that the pope retract his comments, added the Hill.
The pope’s comments have angered Turkey prompting Ankara to recall its Vatican envoy and calling Francis’s remarks “slanderous.”
thank you dear pope ,may God bless you .
I have no doubt that this shameless hacker attack was sponsored by the Turkish government.
This is actually a good thing. Now the Turks will have 1 billion Catholics against them.
The Turkish efforts of denying and covering up their crime of the Armenian Genocide has been exhausted. The civilized world will never be subjected to the threats of Genocidal Turkey.
The terrorist state of Turkey strikes again, lawless, arrogant and belligerent. Your time is coming, search the web for ‘new map of the Middle East’.
Erdogan this is just the beginning, Pray to your God to help you or your ISIS bandits.
turkish reaction-official or public- is not worthy of any comment! just look at the expression on the creature’s face…
This is shameful for Turkey. Lets allow this foolishness, it will only drown Turkey into a further pit of crudeness… Whats next? Will they hack into mtv to attack kim? Digital attacks of Jerusalem?
They are only showing to the world what kind of people they are “cruel, ignorant, with the mentality of a 5 year old. They’re digging their own hole deeper.
