MONTEBELLO–The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dro Gomideh will be hosting the first Volunteer Armenia Expo on Saturday February 28 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Montebello Armenian Center to promote more volunteer, internship and continuing education opportunities in Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhk, and to strengthen ties between the homeland and the diaspora.
Attendance is FREE and all attendees 16 and over will receive one free raffle ticket to win round trip air fare to Yerevan Armenia.
This year’s event will feature over 20 premier exhibitors including but not limited to…TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, Armenian Land and Culture, American University of Armenia, Armenia Tree Project, Armenia Volunteer Corps, Armenian General Benevolent Union, AYF Youth Corps, Birthright Armenia, Armenian Relief Society, Habitat for Humanity and Paros Foundation.
From study-abroad opportunities to public health service to construction work, Volunteer Armenia aims to offer an interested individual everything they could possibly need to begin or continue — a lifetime of service to the Armenian homeland.
