Armenia’s Pro-Government Official Rejects Turkish ‘Preconditions’

The Armenia-Turkey border

Yerevan will hold more discussion to normalize relations between Armenia and Turkey, however, if there are opportunities to discuss the Ankara-proposed “3+3” scheme, Armenia will use that opportunity to have contacts with its Turkish counterpart.

Armenia’s Security Council Chief Armen Grigoryan said in an interview with Armenia’s Public Television on Wednesday that participating in “3+3” talks will enable Yerevan to clarify positions with Ankara and make the process more “accessible.”

Asked if this means that Armenia’s representatives will go to Ankara since Turkey’s foreign minister announced that the next meeting will be held in Turkey and then in Baku and the representatives of Turkey and Azerbaijan will visit Armenia, Grigoryan responded, “If there is an opportunity, we are ready to go, and we are also ready to host the representatives of those countries to organize discussions on our regional issues.”

The proposal made by Ankara after last year’s war, and wholeheartedly backed by Baku, envisions creating a regional bloc with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Russia and Iran. Georgia has officially refused to take part in the process.

Grigoryan said in the interview that an agenda has not been set for Armenia-Turkey normalization process, however, both Ankara and Yerevan believe that “it is mainly about sitting around a table, understanding position of the sides and understanding how to normalize the relations.”

“We see that there are such opportunities in the region, for instance, the possible opening of the Kars-Gyumri railway which will create big opportunities for Armenia and Turkey and will help make Armenia and Turkey economically dependent,” Grigoryan stated.

Asked why is it that the Turkish side constantly says what has to happen and Armenia does whatever the Turkish side says, Grigoryan noted the following: “The Turkish side isn’t saying what has to happen. It makes public statements, and we respond to almost all of them. Currently, we believe the important thing is to sit at the table and discuss the issues. We have yet to sit at the table and understand what Turkey is referring to and what Armenia is referring to.”

Armenia and Turkey have appointed special envoys to lead the talks. Turkey has appointed Armenian Genocide denier and former ambassador to the United States Serder Kilic, while Yerevan has named Ruben Rubinyan, a deputy parliament speaker of Armenia.

When a proposal is made by terrorist Turkey, headed by its notorious genocide denier Islamo-fascist charlatan and rabid barking dog Er-dog-an and “wholeheartedly” backed by Baku, rest-assured there is nothing positive in this for Armenia currently and unfortunately headed by a bunch of unpatriotic traitors and defeatist losers. This is one of the most dysfunctional and self-loathing government Armenia has ever had. The sooner they are kicked out of office the better. The leaders of this government are embarrassments to the Armenian people with half a brain.

If you think terrorist Turkey, with the blessing of artificial Azerbaijan, has anything good to offer to Armenia think again. How soon some of our short-sighted and gullible population forgets the manner in which these two criminal states, both invented on occupied Armenian homeland, having absolutely nothing in common other than a common Armenian enemy refer to each other as “two states, one nation” which is nothing but a euphemism for the destruction of the Armenian statehood. It amazes me how some of our people are so ignorant politically and don’t realize what’s happening here.

The leadership of terrorist Turkey has always had three preconditions to “normalize” relations with Armenia which not only they never have backed off from but that they have taken even a stronger stance on them now that Armenia is at its weakest because of our current incompetent leadership and due to the insecure and vulnerable condition Armenia finds itself as a result of the recent terrorist attack on the Armenians by half dozen terrorist states.

Those three preconditions put forth by terrorist Turkey are:

    1. The recognition of reoccupied liberated Armenian territories as artificial Azerbaijani territory.

    2. The official acceptance by Armenia of the “Moscow Treaty” which will put the final nail on the coffin of Armenian territorial demands from terrorist Turkey. In short, Armenians will have to bid farewell and say goodbye forever to Turkish-occupied Western Armenia.

    3. Give up on the pursuit of the worldwide recognition of the Armenian Genocide which once recognized will be catastrophic for terrorist Turkey both in terms of financial reparations, in hundreds of billions of dollars, and loss of territory as a result of returning occupied Armenian territories confiscated and misappropriated as a direct result of the premeditated and state-sponsored mass extermination and genocide of 1,500,000 indigenous Armenians.

You have to be a sheep to believe and trust in Turkish wolf in sheep’s clothing!
