SOFIA, Bulgaria (Tarlani)—Armenia’s Louisa Aghajanyan, 51, won Miss Grandma Universe2012 beauty contest held Sunday, head of the World League Beauty and Fashion, “Miss & Mister World” International Organizational Committee Ashot Khachatryan announced.
Khachatryan explained that grandmothers from various countries participated in the contest, which was held in three rounds: National Costume Show, Talent and Cooking, and Evening Gown Show.
Armenian grandma from the city of Alaverdi won the contest. Louisa Aghajanayan is a teacher-choreographer and has three children and two grandchildren.
Miss Grandma (Oryort Medzmama) does not sound right to me. Shouldn’t this read MRS. Grandma, maybe?
What!!! No Bikini contest?
Well done, its about time competitions like this were recognized instead of the normal “beauty” pageants we see for teenagers or small kids.
