GLENDALE—Continuing Chamlian’s tradition, this year’s 8th graders were fortunate once again to visit our homeland during their spring break. The trip was truly an unforgettable experience for the 8th grade students as they visited the various monuments and schools.

Lori Berberian: An unfathomable feeling of pride, happiness, and excitement surged through me as I watched a white crane fly across the field which lay before Ararat Mountain.
Talar Ourfalian: Going to Armenia has always been a dream to me…a few weeks ago, I lived that dream. Armenia is very beautiful.
Oorie Garabedian: Every time I visit my homeland, I have a different feeling, and every time, my love for Armenia grows.
Vicken Matiossian: I have been studying about Armenia all my life, and now I actually saw it for the first time, and I’m glad I did.
Alik Yepremian: My days in Armenia with my friends will be unforgettable and my favorite memory at Chamlian.
Talar Kassabian: As I was walking through the streets of Armenia, I felt a sense of pride that I am an Armenian in my homeland.
Vahe Yacoubian: I wish I could see Armenia again; its beauty has no limit.
Seza Atamian: The 8th grade Armenia trip was my first time seeing Armenia, but not my last.
Alexa Arejian: Going to Armenia and seeing its beauty made me proud to be called an Armenian.
Brittany Markarian: I have been waiting eight years for this trip and for the first time in my life I saw my beautiful homeland with my own eyes.
Shant Anmahouni: The beauty of Oshagan villages’ church cannot be put into words.
Shant Ohanian: April 6, 2012 turned out to be one of the most unforgettable moments in my life and I will never forget my feelings about the beautiful Ararat Mountain and Khor Virab.
