YEREVAN (Arka)—Azeri forces shot two Armenian conscripts on Friday, wounding one and killing the other, Armenian Defense Ministry Spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan reported.
According to Hovhannisyan, Norayr Petrosyan and Arthur Asoyan were shot at their guard post in the Syunik province, on the border of Nakhichevan.
They were immediately rushed to Agarak city’s hospital, where Norayr Petrosyan died. Arthur Asoyan’s injuries are not reportedly to be life-threatening.
The Defense Ministry’s specialists are investigating the incident.
A statement by the Defense Ministry in Baku dismissed all allegations.
We must stay vigilant but not fall for the enemy’s obvious provocations. where have u been, they’ve been firing into Armenia for years now. certain towns near the azeri border (north eastern Armenia) where the azeris have the higher ground are always being fired on by snipers
I’ve heard about Azeris shooting at villages, but this is the first I heard that an Armenian soldier was killed in Nakhichevan. I don’t remember any cases where a soldier from Armenia proper was killed, this is very serious and I am surprised at no outrage.

The azerbaijanis get killed too by Armenians, perhaps not as often since they are usually the ones to initiate the shootings, but they certainly get their @sses handed to them when ever they attempt to make incursions into Artsakh.
