SAN DIEGO(Panorama.am) — On March 2, Permanent Representative of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic to the US Robert Avetisyan delivered a lecture at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law of the State of California.
The Artsakh Permanent Representative briefed on the formation and development of Artsakh’s statehood, the past and present stages of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Karabakh, as well as the negotiation process. A special emphasis was put on the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict in the context of international law.
After the speech, Avetisyan answered the questions of the participants concerning the current developments in Artsakh, the political and economic situations in Karabakh as well as a range of other issues.
The lecture of the Artsakh representative, attended by representatives of the School’s Armenian Students’ Union and members of other Students’ Associations, as well as by students and professors of law, was organized as part of an initiative by the School.
He needs to be in the Syrian port city of Latakia, intercepting Armenian refugees on their way to Europe. We have enough speech makers. Imediately, Artsackh needs people. It needs a minimum of double what it has now. With infrastructure, it can accomodate a million residents. That would mean peopeling every city and village in Karabagh and all liberated territories. Why not. Overcrowded villages in Armenia can be decimated and given twice what they had before to move to Artsackh. All Syrian refugees, are not city dwellers. There were a lot of Armenian agriculturalists in Syria. Imagine what they can do in the rich, well irrigated Artsackh soil.
