YEREVAN—A consultative meeting of the governing bodies of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation of Armenia and the Diaspora convened in Yerevan on May 29 at the invitation of the ARF Bureau. In the context of new realities [in Armenia], the meeting held in-depth discussions regarding the political situation in Armenia and the party’s activities over the past two-months, and touched upon possible political developments and future plans.
The meeting reconfirmed the party’s commitment to give new impetus to Armenia-centered activities and expressed its full support of the political course adopted by the party’s bodies in the victory of the people’s movement.
The meeting noted that the strengthening and consolidation of Armenian statehood remains a pan-Armenian agenda and a priority for Armenians in the homeland and in the Diaspora.
The meeting also valued the rebirth that has taken place as a result of the popular movement and noted that it will gain new meaning on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Armenian statehood, paving the way for a new beginning and a just and powerful Armenia.

I know that the ARF is united and can not be divided, but your text does not justify the title; there is no mention of unity in the text.
What does the headline have to do with the text? Besides, was there any doubt that the ARF is not “united”?
Armen, did you read the first part of my comment? I had stated very clearly that I KNOW ARF IS UNIDED. Now, the simple rule of writing an essay, a story or an official declaration is as follows: If you have a clear topic just like the ARF declaration above, YOU HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING about that notion in the text that follows the topic; in this case, the text should contain a sentence, an explanation or a statement telling how the ARF is not divided but united! Read again and you will see that there is no mention of the party’s unity in the text. The whole thing is quite explanatory, but tells nothing about the topic. I am sorry to be lecturing to you and other readers, too about such simplistic matter.
All parties have devided ideology amongst its members and followers but none as pronounced as it was in the ARF lines the last few weeks during the event that took place in Armenia. Members and followers expected the ARF bureau to be the first supporter of the people’s revolution, but that was not the case and the stance that the ARF took divided its members and followers alike and wrightfully so.
The ARF was always the party of the people and when it stood by the powers that abused its people, lines where drawn and people questioned the motives of the ARF and I believe in the may 29 meeting the bureau recalibrated itself and assured its members that the course of the ARF has not changed and reunited its members by renewing its vows to stand by the people and working with the new government to ensure the integrity of the motherland and the party..
I think that’s what this article meant to say.
We al make mistakes, but the bigger mistake is not to admit it and try to sugar coat it.
