GLENDALE-In continuing its commitment to high-quality service–the Asbarez daily newspaper launched a multi-purpose and free-of- charge news and information website Saturday-at http.//www.asbarez.com-which allows electronic access to the Asbarez English Section.
The website is an easy-access site featuring top stories of the day–a weekly community digest–general features and documen’s–as well as research archives containing documen’s– reports and publications which have appeared in past editions of Asbarez.
The site is designed to provide up-to-the-minute news and information–as well as breaking stories from Armenia–Karabakh and throughout the world. Major international publications–news agencies and organization websites can also be accessed through Asbarez.com–which also features links with other Armenian and non-Armenian sites in existence.
The new service’s comprehensive archives site–called "Asbarez Archives," contains important documen’s and other material and is easily accessible for academic and other research projects.
Access to breaking news from Armenia and Karabakh and other Armenian-related news stories is also available free of charge through a simple electronic registration format–whereby news will be directly e-mailed to the registrant as it happens.
The site also allows for a free four to six week subscription to the Saturday edition of the newspaper–and provides the opportunity for subscribing to the newspaper electronically.
The website joins the three-year-old Asbarez-On-Line electronic news service available through the Groong Armenian News Network–as the 89-year-old publication’s commitment to quality and advanced service to the Armenian community.
Asbarez.com can also be accessed through the Armenian.org website–which was recently launched by the Armenian Cultural Foundation as a service linking individuals to a broad spectrum of community organizations and Armenian and non-Armenian electronic sites throughout the world.
