YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A rally dedicated to the ninth anniversary of adoption of a resolution on reunification of Karabakh with Armenia was held Thursday in Yerevan’s Liberty Square. The rally was staged by the "Artsakh-Hayastan" organization and the steering committee of the Pan-Armenian conference–"In Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic."
Current and former chairmen of "Artsakh-Hayastan" Sergey Melkoumian and Lenser Aghalovian–chairman of the Scientific-Industrial and Civil Union Rafael Ghazarian and a representative of the Democratic Party of Armenia Karine Danielian spoke at the rally.
All of the speakers focused on the nine-year heroic struggle of people of Karabakh–noting the importance of rendering support.
Master of Ceremonies and chariman of the steering committee of the Pan-Armenian conference–Aram Sargsian–called on Armenia’s throughout the world to come together to find a solution to the Karabakh conflict–which according to the speaker–should be resolved by the combined efforts of the entire nation.
Aghalovian emphasized the importance of international recognition of Karabakh in his message.
