YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)-The Steering Committee of the Pan-Armenian Forum met on Wednesday and addressed the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
Aram Sargsian–chairman of the Steering Committee–said that it was the first attempt to combine all national forces to solve the Karabakh conflict in the aftermath of the controversial Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Lisbon Summit.
Alexan Haroutiunian–Karabakh’s representative to Armenia–read President Robert Kocharian’s congratulatory message addressed to the gathering.
Haroutiunian said the people of Karabakh have fulfilled their task in saving Karabakh–however– all Armenian communities–including the Diaspora should take part in the final settlement of the conflict.
Sargsian announced that the declaration adopted by the participants would be published in a few days.
