YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan) – The construction of an electricity transmitter across the Arax river connecting power systems of Armenia and Iran was launched last week–and was expected be concluded within a week.
The construction of a 220-voltage line was undertaken by Armenian and Iranian specialists. A number of tests on parallel work of the two power systems aimed at adjusting problems of control were planned after the completion of the construction.
