The government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has embarked on an All-Armenian Lottery–the profits from which will go toward strengthening and enhancement of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
The All-Armenian Lottery tickets will be sold in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic–Armenia–the Commonwealth of Independent States and throughout the Diaspora.
The cost of each lottery ticket is $5. The prizes include money–works of art–souveniers–cars–Karabakh citizenship–as well as Karabakh tour packages–homes and land–apartmen’s–factories–incomplete construction units and permits for establishing businesses. The deadline for the purchase of the tickets has been set for March 31–1998–with the lottery scheduled to be drawn on May 9–1998–which coincides with the anniversary of the liberation of Shoushi. The prizes will be awarded by December 31–1998.
Lottery tickets have already been distributed throughout each community in the Diaspora–based on their potential and population. Between 50,000 to 80,000 tickets have been earmarked for California.
An executive body for the All-Armenian Lottery has already begun to contact area organizations–in order to distribute the tickets to all circles of the community.
Each ticket is numbered and the executive body is accountable to the leadership of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic for all tickets undertaken–thus ensuring that the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic government will have the most control on the collected funds.

On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the liberation struggle for Karabakh–we–once again–have the opportunity to prove our commitment and dedication to Karabakh’s independence and its reunion with Armenia–through real work. Military victories and overcoming diplomatic obstacles will be futile without grass roots support and contribution. Let us all take part in the All-Armenian Lottery.
