YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Lraper TV Program announced Monday that Interior and National Security Ministry is pursuing criminal proceeding against the Armen Ter-Sahakian-led group–25 members of which have already been arrested.
Following a raid launched by police on Sunday–an assault riffle–Makarov and Karobin guns–gunpowder and cartridges were found in the apartment of Yerevan resident Volodya Avetissian–the son of whom–Edward Avetissian–is among the 25 arrested. Two submachine-guns–a riffle with telescopic sight and several thousand cartridges of different caliber were confiscated from the garage of Hrazdan resident Shahen Vaharshakian.
